The rapidly growing larger residents; approximately over 200,000, are deprived of the sources of water. These circumstances have driven Gwadar into a portable water crisis. These statistics indicate that 70 percent of Balochistan is going through water shortage, while Gwadar is the worst hit by water deprivation. The suppliers of drinking water to Gawader are Shadi Kaur and Belar Dam which are located in Pasni, having been sustained by rainfalls. The scarcity of water in the following dams has capitalized the supply of pricey water tankers, which nearly cost 2000 to 3000 rupees per supply, maximizing the burden on poor homes.
Hence, the management needs to form instantaneous productive strategies such as creating sufficient desalination plants to provide enough water to the people, plants, and animals in the city.
